Hand made mid century style oak stools with upholstered seat pads have been designed by Homeward Interiors and made for us by talented cabinet maker Jacob Littlejones Furniture using locally felled and seasoned Staffordshire Oak.
These hand made inch and half thick solid oak stools with 4 turned and tapered legs have upholstered seat pads that are ideal to rest your feet upon, are equally useful as an occasional spare seat and with the nice dense foam they 're firm enough to have chair side to rest a cup and book.
They measure approx 37cm high and the oval top measures 38cm x 27cm and the pad is approx 8cm deep.
We ve had the pleasure of showcasing a selection of Thorody's hand screen printed linens for this batch. Their pattern designs come in wonderfully intricate and precise hand drawn lines that seem to work equally well on a Art Deco Recliner or a mid century Ercol chair and are a perfect choice for our stools. A truely special cloth, carefully sourced natural Belgian flax linen of the best quality, hand screen printed in the UK . If you look closely there's a slight wobble to the line, that's because the designs all started as hand drawings and are all the better for it... They are a firm favourite here at Homeward.
