What started out originally as a Edwardian hall Robe has now been transformed into an attractive set of storage shelves, bookcase or linen store suitable for bedroom,kitchen or bathroom ....they are versatile!
Hand painted by Nicky Hancock for Homeward using a combing technique in light grey and inky black glaze this piece is decorative and unusual. The pattern is created by drawing a comb through a glaze and has been done quite spontaneously with the sections and patterns dictated by the space there was to work within.
Solid wood carcass with tongue and groove back with solid wood, painted shelves on fixed painted wooden brackets. All hand painted in water based paints and glazes and finishes with 3 coats of acrylic varnish.
